MAIN SWITCH BOARD REGULATION ACCORDING TO SOLAS
1.
The
main switchboard shall be so placed relative to one main generating station
that, as far as is practicable, may be a machinery control room.
2.
Main
and auxiliary switchboard shall be so arranged to give easy access for personel
to prevent injury.
3.
Around
the switchboard shall be suitable guarded.
4.
Exposed
live parts shall not be installed on the front of the switchboard.
5.
Non
conducting mats shall be provided at the front and rear of the switchboard.
