What is meant by the terms a. Subdivision Loadline b. Deepest Subdivision Loadline c. Partial Loadline

1.2.1 Subdivision load line
The subdivision load line is a waterline used in determining the subdivision of the ship.

1.2.2 Deepest subdivision load line
The deepest subdivision load line is the subdivision load line which corresponds to the summer draught to be assigned to the ship. This definition does not preclude loading the ship to deeper draughts permissible under other load line assignments such as tropical, timber, etc.

1.2.3 Partial load line
The partial load line is the light ship draught plus 60% of the difference between the light ship draught and deepest subdivision load line.The light ship draught is the draught, assuming level trim, corresponding to the ship lightweight. Lightweight is the displacement of a ship in tonnes without cargo, fuel, lubricating oil, ballast water, fresh water and feed water in tanks, consumable stores, and passengers and crew and their effects.
The draught dp corresponding to the partial load line is given, in m, by the following formula:
dp = dls + 0,6 (dl - dls)
where:

dl
:
Draught, in m, corresponding to the deepest subdivision load line (in metres),

dls
:
Light ship draught, in m.
