Comfort zone in Air Condition

A comfort zone is reached when the temp and humidity of the conditioned air is acceptable to the majority of people.

a)     Comfort temp. = 18 ~ 25°C; average 22°C

b)    Comfort humidity = 40% - 70%; depending on the air temp.

c)     Air speed 0-15 m/s

d)    Noise level 45-50 decibels

e)     Clean air with suitable degree of oxygen.

       Excess relative humidity with low L.T:

-         Would cause unpleasant wetness on the skin.

       Low relative humidity with H.T:

-         May cause the throat, nasal passage, mouth, lips to dry and quite painful/uneasy.

       For comfortable level of humidity:

-         Humidifying or de-humidifying is necessary.
