Why Temp. +ve before expansion v/v and –ve after expansion v/v?

Before expansion v/v (+ve) temp. because high pressure refrigerant liquid remains in small volume and after expansion v/v pressure reduce causes low saturation temp. evaporator absorbs the latent heat from the liquid refrigerant causes temp. negative.
