Tank Top fire, what is your action?

1) raise fire alarm

2) inform bridge & C/E

3) give engineers alarm to get help

4) if the ship is at port, local fire station must be informed.

5) remove combustible material near the fire place

6) cut off the fuel line leading to the fire in tank top space.

7) applied foam fire extinguisher to extinguish the fire (not directly on the fire)

8) reduce/empty oil level of the tank which is below the tank top ( if oil level high, oil can vaporize due to tank top fire.
